APMSA Education & Service Grants
APMSA Education and Service Grants are available to promote and further educate podiatric medical students and the general public about podiatric medicine.
There are two different types of grants available: Education Grants: Programs or projects that enhance the overall educational experience at a podiatric college for the benefit of the student body and/or educate the surrounding local community's understanding and importance of good foot and ankle care and the role of a podiatrist in the delivery of healthcare. Examples of education initiatives are practice management, research, diabetes or wound care seminars, health fairs, or foot health awareness month. Service Grants: Activities or programs that provide a service to the school’s local community or organization by delivering goods or services to improve foot health and to emphasize the role of a podiatrist in the delivery of foot care. Examples of service initiatives are foot screenings, walkathons, health fairs, or “Shoes for the Homeless."
